Job description

The Station Support Agent is responsible for supporting overall station operations by performing duties in ramp operations, customer service, and cargo handling. This position ensures the safe, secure, and efficient handling of passengers, baggage, cargo, and aircraft while maintaining excellent customer service standards and compliance with Company, FAA, TSA, and local airport regulations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous airline, customer service, ramp, or cargo experience preferred.
  • Experience in a Part 121 environment preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform both abovewing and belowwing duties.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during adverse or stressful situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to comply with all airport security and safety requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities

These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ramp Operations
  • Marshal aircraft and perform wingwalking procedures.
  • Load and unload aircraft baggage, freight, and cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Operate and receive training on ground service equipment.
  • Perform aircraft servicing duties, including catering support.
  • Follow all ramp safety procedures, markings, and equipment operating guidelines.
  • Assist with deicing operations in accordance with the Deice Manual (DIM) when applicable.
  • Protect passenger baggage and cargo from damage, loss, and weather exposure.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, incidents, and accidents to management immediately.
  • Maintain compliance with local airport, FAA, TSA, and Company regulations.
Customer Service Operations
  • Assist passengers with checkin, boarding, deplaning, and baggage processing.
  • Ensure safe passenger movement on the ramp and tarmac during boarding and deplaning.
  • Follow all security and passenger screening procedures.
  • Conduct aircraft security search procedures as required.
  • Assist with station opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional station environment.
  • Handle customer interactions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of passenger and operational information.
  • Ensure all Company funds and transactions are secured and processed according to Company procedures.
  • Perform GSC or CRO duties after required training, if assigned.
Cargo Operations
  • Process and handle inbound and outbound cargo shipments.
  • Complete Cargo Load Report procedures accurately.
  • Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and documented in compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with freight acceptance, storage, and release procedures.
  • Maintain safe handling practices for all cargo and hazardous materials, where applicable.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain current training requirements and certifications.
  • Support overall station operations as directed by the Station Manager.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety, security, and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
