Job summary

The Montana Department of Transportation is recruiting for a Maintenance Training & Implementation Program Manager. This position designs and delivers training for MDT’s Maintenance division across the Helena headquarters and five districts statewide, conducting needs assessments, developing materials, teaching classes, and managing budgets for the program.

The role oversees the Entry Level Drivers Training program, collaborates with consultants under contract, and may offer relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business or Public Administration, Communications, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of education experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a CMV with CDL or 2 years as a CMV instructor.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for MDT Maintenance division employees and across districts.
• Identify needs and sources for training; review training RFPs and administer training contracts.
• Develop training materials, teach classes, and manage training budgets.
