The College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State University seeks an Extension Educator trained in community nutrition/health education or food science to join the Food, Families, and Communities Unit. The role develops educational content and delivers programs statewide, with in-person sessions in Lebanon County, while supervising part-time staff and volunteers.

Formación

• Master’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication, teaching and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to supervise staff and work as an active team member.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver educational programs statewide via virtual formats and in-person sessions in Lebanon County.
• Create original content for online courses, videos, apps and publications.
• Collaborate across disciplines to address nutrition and health education needs.
• Build and manage collaborations with university faculty and staff to support applied research and program evaluation.
• Supervise part-time staff and volunteers who deliver nutrition and food preservation programs.
