Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years in organizing, coalition building, and issue/action campaigns.
  • Ability to grow alliances and drive public action around statehood issues.
  • Strong strategic thinking and reliable execution in complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Grow alliances and base by connecting statehood to health care, economic justice, democracy, and voting rights.
  • Develop and execute in-person and online actions, town halls, and press events.
  • Build leadership capacity and recruit volunteers outside DC to act.
  • Represent the organization at events, hearings, and with lawmakers; shape communications.
  • Collaborate with leadership, communications, and program teams to implement strategy.
