Job summary

Lake Pointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join a 74-bed facility on the banks of Lake Erie. You will help residents reach rehabilitation goals and work alongside a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care.

We offer private and semi-private rooms with cable television and Internet access, supporting a comfortable stay for residents and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

• Assist licensed nurses with patient care, including vital signs, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide support with feeding, toileting, and ambulation, while promoting independence and dignity for residents
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and proper storage and disposal of supplies
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and other mobility needs, as needed
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and residents, promoting open communication and collaboration
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, while maintaining a positive attitude and work environment
