The State Program Director provides statewide leadership for residential and child placing agency provider utilization management, contract procurement, and provider oversight. This position ensures residential and Child Placing Agency services are clinically appropriate, fiscally responsible, contractually compliant, and aligned with the needs of youth and families.
You will review complex cases involving youth in foster care and residential treatment. You will also provide clinical guidance to help determine each youth’s treatment needs and identify the most appropriate and least restrictive placement capable of safely meeting the youth and family’s needs.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours that may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
