Job summary

Ryan LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Tax Internship candidate eager to work with subject matter experts in a team-based environment.

You will support multi-state, state and local, and federal tax work for Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients, gaining hands-on training and mentorship while handling data-driven calculations.

Interns receive competitive pay, holidays, and opportunities to travel to Ryan's Dallas headquarters for the summer program and network with industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies by identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, including preparing clients for discussions with auditors and representing the client at hearings and appeals.
• Research and draft technical memoranda regarding state and local tax questions or issues.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
• Review documentation and research issues.
• Work with raw data to complete detailed calculations.
