Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum five years in public accounting with government audits.
• CPA license required.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple engagements.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GASB standards.
• Not-for-profit audit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of an audit or review on multiple engagements.
• Maintain contact with clients and manage client relationships throughout the year.
• Lead, train and supervise staff and senior accountants; assist in performance reviews.
• Create, track and adhere to budgets for engagements and communicate overruns to leadership.
• Support business development efforts and contribute to engagement planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate engagement workflow, scheduling and staffing; ensure compliance with firm standards.
• Travel to client offices as needed; hybrid work environment and overtime during peak periods.
