Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a State Licensed Journeyman with 5–10 years of experience to tackle complex electrical construction challenges. The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and capable of solving problems while keeping projects moving forward.

Preferred experience on heavy civil projects such as bridges, structural concrete, mechanical equipment installation, heavy steel, and marine work. Travel is required 100% with per diem provided for long distances.

Qualifications

• State Journeyman license in WA and OR
• 5–10 years of experience in the field
• Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
• Experience on heavy civil projects including bridges, structural concrete, mechanical equipment installation, heavy steel structure installation, and marine work

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Install, maintain, and work with cable tray systems and cabling.
• Perform control wiring and terminations with accuracy and quality.
• Complete required project documentation and field reports.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Assist with planning and layout of daily electrical tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and subcontractors.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
