Job summary

A leading automotive service provider is seeking a State Inspection Mechanic to inspect vehicles and perform repairs like tire changes and oil changes. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry and possess a valid Driver's License, PA State Inspection, and Emissions Licenses. Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer vehicles.
• Change tires, repair flats, complete oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel balancing.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations and wheel balancing as needed.
• Work with fellow technicians to complete various jobs.

Job description

A State Inspection Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting customer vehicles as well as changing tires, repairing flats, completing oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel balancing. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and will work well with other technicians on various jobs. Hours are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch Monday-Friday and some Saturdays from 8am-1pm.

Job Requirements for State Inspection Mechanic:

• One or more years of experience in automotive industry
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods is REQUIRED!
• Valid PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses
• MUSThave a valid Driver’s License
