Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Law degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in government affairs.
• Understanding of legislative processes; policy and budget processes preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Travel up to 50% and based in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute state advocacy strategies aligned with Ferring's business objectives.
• Lead state-based advocacy campaigns influencing policy, reimbursement, and regulations.
• Build relationships with policymakers, regulators, governors, and legislators.
• Represent Ferring's interests before state officials and external stakeholders.
• Manage external consultants, budgets, timelines, and partnerships.
• Prepare policy communications, testimony, and stakeholder presentations.
• Collaborate with public health organizations and patient advocates.
• Support product launches and market access objectives.
