Nuevo Field Campaigns is seeking an experienced, driven, and highly organized State Director to lead the execution, and day-to-day management of field programs within an assigned state through the 2026 election cycle.
The State Director will oversee all in-state operations, including paid canvassing, voter registration, ballot cure, signature collection, GOTV, and issue advocacy programs. Working closely with the National Field Director and company leadership, this position will ensure programs are executed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards while serving as the primary operational leader within their assigned state.
Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Preference will be given to candidates whose residence is in one of our program locations.
This position reports directly to the National Field Director and serves as the senior operational leader within an assigned state. State Directors are responsible for executing statewide strategy, managing staff and client relationships, and ensuring all programs are delivered according to Nuevo Field Campaigns' standards, while partnering closely with the National Field Director on overall strategy, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
By November 2026, the State Director will have:
Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and the geographic market in which the employee is based. Salaries may vary by location to reflect regional labor market conditions. Monthly compensation is expected to range from $6,500 to $7,500.
For contract-based candidates, compensation may be structured as a monthly retainer or project-based agreement, depending on experience and program responsibilities.
