Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply financial policies.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Texas state financial systems such as CAPPS, USAS, SharePoint, or Tableau.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (desirable).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Interest in long-term employment within state government.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a state background check to be eligible for hire.

We are seeking a Budget Analyst to join our partner’s Reconciliation and Budgeting/Operations team. This role is essential to supporting key financial operations and alleviating workload from senior budget analysts .

What We’re Looking For
