Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle in our hospital setting. The role emphasizes adherence to organizational policies and professional accountability, with coordination of care among care teams.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in Georgia, and Basic Life Support. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and some hospital experience is desirable but not strictly required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
