Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown seeks a dedicated staff nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across the life span in a busy hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using standard policies and deliver safe, high-quality care.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a Georgia RN license and BCLS are mandatory. New graduates are welcome; hospital experience is preferred for PRN roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing as a prerequisite.
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate license (NLC/eNCL) is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable (see addendum).
• New graduates are eligible; nursing experience in hospital setting is preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience may be preferred for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Education

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
