Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare's Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN to join the STAT Team in the critical care setting. You will respond rapidly to on-campus emergencies, provide patient surveillance, and collaborate with ICU staff to deliver high-quality care.

You will maintain a current competency file, demonstrate strong assessment and prioritization skills, and hold Georgia RN licensure with ACLS and BCLS certifications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years critical care experience required.
• RN license (Georgia) and ACLS/BCLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary contact for STAT Team.
• Responds to all on-campus medical emergencies.
• Acts as clinical resource to critical care staff.
• Collaborates with Critical Care Patient Coordinator/Direct Admit/Heartlink staff.
• Performs patient surveillance/screening functions.
• Maintains professional development; assumes responsibility for maintaining a complete and current competency file.
