Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Build Engineer (STARSHIP) to lead build processes for vehicle fluids systems. You will work with design and build teams, create CAD tooling, and drive testing and integration activities for high-rate manufacturing.

You will guide technicians, participate in design reviews, and help shape future Starship and Super Heavy hardware with a focus on manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in aerospace, manufacturing, materials, mechanical or related field.
• Hands-on project experience with fluid and/or mechanical systems.
• 1+ years of manufacturing design experience (internship/academic experience allowed).

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, techniques, and tools for high rate production.
• Collaborate with design engineering to simplify vehicle fluids systems.
• Supervise technicians, welders, and fabricators to build high quality fluid systems hardware.
• Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing to meet deadlines.
• Create CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components.
• Maintain build schedules and support design reviews with suppliers.
