Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain test systems for flight hardware including in-house electronics, optics, RF, and electromechanical assemblies.

You will write automation software in Python, collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, and perform root-cause analyses to improve reliability across extreme environments. Degree in engineering and hands-on testing experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• 1+ years in electronic hardware or software development.
• 1+ years programming in Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom test solutions for flight hardware.
• Select COTS hardware or design PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
• Write automation software in Python to interact with UUT, test equipment, and production docs.
• Work with design, manufacturing, and test labs to improve reliability and yield.
• Root-cause test anomalies and implement mitigations.
