The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $17.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $17.75 USD - $26.65 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

• As a Starbucks Barista, provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted Starbucks’ food quality and freshness management.
• Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests at 10ft (smile, eye contact) and 4ft (warm, helpful interaction); help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience; end every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude; adjust to business and guest needs to deliver a quality guest experience.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with a fresh and abundant shopping environment during all hours of operation; prioritize guest needs over tasks; uphold Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product; maintain awareness of current and future promotions.
• Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety.
• Support Drive Up processes to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time; maintain an inviting dining area during shifts.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations per Starbucks standards; produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications.
• Follow all food safety requirements, monitor temperatures of sensitive items, and complete cleaning tasks per best practices; identify damaged, recalled or expired items and act according to best practices.
• Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders; follow perishable inventory procedures; execute sampling best practices; complete required training and certifications related to quality control; demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times, comply with safety policies, report hazards, and assist guests with back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up duties while adhering to applicable adult beverage laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

Qualifications & Training

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly; attention to detail; follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Basic Expectations

• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
• Interpret instructions, reports and information; handle cash register operations as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders if needed; lift up to 44 pounds with or without assistance; work in refrigeration and freezer environments; exposure to varying temperatures and elements; maintain mobility during shifts.
• Flexible schedule and adherence to scheduled shifts, including breaks.
