Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC, the operator of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, is seeking a Barista to join its hospitality team. You will provide front-counter service, take food and beverage orders, prepare drinks to brand specifications, and process payments accurately.

As part of a fast-paced guest-focused environment, you will maintain product knowledge, support daily operations, keep areas clean, and help ensure a positive guest experience while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or coffeehouse preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, take guest orders, and prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
• Deliver legendary Starbucks service by preparing drinks to brand specifications.
• Operate the POS system to record and reconcile transactions, maintaining an accurate cash bank.
• Stock and rotate supplies, including checking in warehouse orders and restocking as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, take guest orders, and prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
• Deliver legendary Starbucks service by preparing drinks to brand specifications
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to record and reconcile transactions, maintaining an accurate cash bank
• Stock and rotate supplies, including checking in warehouse orders and restocking as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels throughout the shift
• members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
