Responsibilities include:

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and throughout the store.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer requests, using proper equipment; handle transactions following best practices.
  • Offer product samples and inform customers about specials.
  • Ensure products are fresh and properly portioned to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommend items to customers to meet their needs.
  • Use all coffee shop equipment safely and properly, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens.
  • Label, stock, and inventory products accurately.
  • Report discrepancies and safety concerns to management.
  • Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
  • Follow safety procedures and food safety regulations diligently.
  • Maintain equipment and report repair needs.
  • Report accidents and safety issues promptly.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
  • Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
