Job summary

Little Miami School District is seeking a standby bus driver for a 6-hour-per-day contracted route in Ohio. Standbys are guaranteed 6 hours daily and qualify for benefits.

You will complete the required Ohio BMV CDL test with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements, pass a background check, medical and drug tests, and receive training with a qualified instructor before School Board approval for employment.

Qualifications

• Obtain a temporary CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsement (Ohio BMV test).
• Clear driving record required.
• Physical and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule a test with the Ohio BMV for a temporary CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsement.
• Contact Chad Konkle at [e-mail] to schedule interview and background check.
• Complete required physical and drug testing.
• Train with On‑Board Instructors; minimum 12 hours, average 25–30 hours.
• Attend 15 classroom hours with Brandon Anness at the Warren County Educational Service Center.
• Take the CDL State Test; an On‑Board Instructor will accompany you.
• Obtain approval by the School Board for employment.
