Job summary

BSI in the UK is seeking a Standards Engagement Manager to oversee national and international standards committees, drive strategic initiatives, and engage with industry leaders to influence best practices across sectors.

You will facilitate discussions, build consensus, manage a diverse portfolio of standards projects, and help identify opportunities for new standards, while collaborating with internal teams. Hybrid role based in Covent Garden, with salary up to £42,400 per annum.

About the role

In this diverse and dynamic role, you'll manage national and international standards committees, drive strategic initiatives, and engage with industry leaders to influence best practices across industry. You'll be right at the heart of how BSI operates as a National Standards Body, helping to set the guidelines for how others work across the globe. You'll facilitate discussions, build consensus, oversee standards development projects, and help identify opportunities for new standards. This is not a technical regulatory or auditing role, and previous standards experience is not required. Instead, we're looking for someone with excellent stakeholder engagement, strong project management and facilitation skills with the ability to lead a diverse portfolio of standards committees and projects.

• Sector knowledge - sector knowledge of safety, food or healthcare can be beneficial.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £42,400 per annum; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to; candidate competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
