Standardized Patients (SPs) serve WashU Medicine under the supervision of the Immersive Learning Center. SPs are an important part of the education of health profession learners. SPs are individuals trained to portray the personal history, physical symptoms, emotional characteristics, and everyday concerns of a patient during simulated provider-patient encounters for the training and assessment of healthcare students. SPs are trained to assess communication skills and to provide constructive written and verbal feedback. SPs work in a part-time, as needed position. Available dates and hours of work are determined by curricular needs.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in education, theatre or performing arts. Experience as an standardized patient and experience in coaching.
Grade G06-H Salary Range $17.87 - $27.06 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
