Job Description

As a Machinist, you will perform setup and manual operations on various machining equipment to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities:

• Machine products to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and layouts
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments
• Calculate dimensions and lay out workpieces
• Set up and adjust machine tools
• Support cross-training of team members
• Work independently and collaboratively to ensure quality
• Follow all safety practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with manual machine tools operations
• Ability to operate lathes or mills and use measuring instruments
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Proficiency with measuring tools and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Characteristics:

• Experience with Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL)
• Strong mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and precision
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
