Job summary

GLS Logistics and Holdings in Pompano Beach, FL, is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our local team. We are a community‑focused carrier offering paid training, a stable schedule, and opportunities to grow within a small, locally owned business.

As a Delivery Driver you will load and unload packages, follow GPS routes, maintain a clean vehicle, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, work in all weather, and support teammates on routes. A valid license and 2+ years of driving are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Driving: Minimum 2 years (Required).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must clear a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered.
• Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws.
• Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Report any issues or problems to management immediately.
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver totes up to 70 lbs.

Schedule for FT Team Members is set schedule

Hours of operation are from 10:45am - 9:30pm

A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30 minute meal break

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered

Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws

Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner

Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

Report any issues or problems to management immediately

Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis maneuver totes weighing up to 70lbs., using material handling equipment.

Getting in and out of the van over 300 times a day safely.

Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when
other team members need assistance with their routes

As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Must clear a drug screen.

Proficient in English, with the ability to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel (US DOT standard).
