Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to operate in a high-rack, narrow-aisle warehouse environment. This role requires standing in temperatures from -10°F to 100°F and handling both ambient and freezer items.

You will receive, store, stage, and load finished desserts, maintain inventory accuracy, and perform cycle counts while following GMP and safety procedures. Prior experience with RF scanners and WMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• Experience in freezer/cold-storage environments.
• Experience with inventory systems / WMS.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Ability to operate RF scanners/handheld devices.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks) with accuracy.
• Receive, store, stage, and load finished products while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Check pallet and product conditions, lot numbers, quantities, and locations during receipts and transfers.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow safety, GMP, and sanitation guidelines in all tasks.
• Communicate effectively with QA, maintenance, and customer service as needed.
