Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in DeKalb, IL is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-up Reach) to join our supply chain team. You will perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, and overall forklift duties to keep operations efficient.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse or related PI truck experience, and a valid forklift license. We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO from day 1, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Punctual with good attendance record.
• Lifts up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation.
• Auditing and cycle counting, tote induction and staging of products.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
