Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. in Michigan is hiring a general labor forklift position to move finished products and materials around the facility. You will operate a stand-up forklift, load/unload trucks, and assist with warehouse upkeep while following safety procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, or two years related experience. Prior forklift/warehouse experience is preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or two years related work experience.
• Prior forklift/warehouse experience is preferred; standing forklift is preferred but not required.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive stand-up forklift/walkie truck.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and store materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production workers.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Enter records using a computer.
