Compass Group USA at State Farm Arena is seeking a Concessions Stand Lead to oversee operations at a single concession stand, ensuring safe, friendly service and accurate inventory management. The lead will understand the menu and ensure timely delivery of food without ringing up sales.

Concessions Stand Lead - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants

Pay Rate:$17.50 per hour. This is not a tipped position.

Schedule:Part time event-based schedule. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Must be able to work all Hawks home games.

Requirements:The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food service or hospitality, with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with both team members and guests, demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The candidate should have a working knowledge of food and beverage offerings, inventory support, and guest service standards.

Job Summary

Summary:The Concession Stand Lead is responsible leading and organizing the operations at assigned concession stand, bar and/or portable carts to deliver a safe and friendly atmosphere at that one location. The stand lead is responsible for inventory and product, but not ringing up product. The lead understands the content of the menu and ensures the timely delivery of food. Food safety and sanitation guidelines must be followed, as well as the set up and breakdown of service areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes and follows up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Maintains service areas, employs good safety and sanitation practices, and adheres to company guidelines and house rules
• Takes inventory of supplies and equipment; maintains stock at required operational level.
• Trains concessions team members
• Communicates to guests and supervisors or managers
• Supports non-profit organizations and volunteers during events, and assists with food preparation when necessary
• Oversees accuracy of timekeeping and compliance with OSHA and Health Department regulations
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
