Job summary

CompleteStaff is seeking a press operator in Wisconsin to operate stamping presses from 95 to 1000 tons, load and unload material, align fixtures, and ensure high quality parts.

You will inspect parts, tag finished goods, record counts, and work first shift 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday with overtime as required and on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience operating stamping presses.
• Ability to read gauges and use check aids.
• Basic math and counting for scrap/parts.
• Attention to quality, safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal material into press bed.
• Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops.
• Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection.
• Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts.
• Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system.

The press operator is responsible for operating mechanical and hydraulic stamping press equipment ranging from 95 Ton to 1000 Ton to produce high quality parts and meet demand.

Essential Job Functions:

• Load and unload metal material into press bed
• Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
• Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection
• Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts
• Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job or shift

1 st shift hours:

6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with overtime as required and on Saturdays)
