Job summary

Wachter in Lowell, AR is seeking a Temp Staging and Configuration Specialist to join our in-office team. The role focuses on gathering critical information from AV hardware, building racks to AVIXA standards, testing configurations, and coordinating with engineers to push system setups.

Candidate will handle firmware/software versions, serials, MAC addresses, IPs, and vendor passwords, while maintaining warehouse inventory and assisting AV programmers in shop testing and final packaging of

Qualifications

• Displays understanding of basic AV systems.
• Displays knowledge of AVIXA rack-building standards.
• Gathers critical information from AV hardware: Serial numbers, MAC addresses, Firmware versions, Software versions, Username and password, IP addresses.
• Tests and configures AV equipment: Updates firmware.
• Mocks up system in lab per engineer provided drawings.
• Builds AV Equipment racks per AVIXA standards.
• Maintains AV warehouse inventory spreadsheet.
• Maintains AV rack fabrication area.
• Works with AV programmers to push system configurations and programming to AV systems.
• Assists AV engineers with testing AV systems in shop.
• Packages, labels, and ships AV systems once fully tested.

Wachter is accepting applications for a 4:00 PM- 12:00 AM Temp Staging and Configuration Specialist to join the Lowell, AR office. This in-office position is responsible for gathering critical information for AV hardware, rack fabrication, and system testing of systems.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to work overtime as requested by AV Engineering Manager.
