Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Engineer, Stage Systems (Starship) to own the stage propulsion design, performance, and integration across Starship hardware. You will develop system requirements, model propulsion behavior, and collaborate with production and test teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in mechanical, aerospace, or related field, hands-on experience with fluid systems, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical or fluid systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain top-level requirements, system design, operation, and performance of the stage propulsion systems.
• Generate and maintain all stage test plans; support all stage testing operations and review test data.
