Job summary

Hell in a Handbag Productions seeks an experienced Stage Manager for It’s A Horrible Life, A Golden Girls Lost Episodes Musical Parody at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave in Chicago. The ideal candidate has experience with non-equity companies and is comfortable wearing multiple hats within a small production team. Rehearsals run Mon-Thu, 7pm-10pm, and Saturdays 11am-3pm; load-in is Nov.

23; tech/dress Nov. 24–30; previews Dec. 3–5; opens Dec.

Qualifications

• Experience with non-equity theatre companies.
• Comfort with wearing multiple hats in a small company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rehearsals and performance schedule for a non-equity stage; manage stage operations and cues.
• Oversee load-in, tech/dress, previews, and run of shows; supervise strike logistics.

Rehearsals begin 10/26, thru Nov. 30 and generally run Monday-Thursday, 7pm-10p, and Saturdays 11:00am-3:00pm wit hthe exception of tech and dress

No rehearsal Nov. 26- Thanksgiving

Previews: Dec. 3, 4, 5 Opens: Dec. 6
