Qualifications

• An MFA in Stage Management, Theatre, Drama, or a related field, or commensurate professional experience.
• Substantial professional stage management or entertainment management experience.
• Evidence of effective teaching and mentorship for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Ability to work with students from varied backgrounds with inclusive instruction.
• Plan for continued activity in teaching, scholarship, or creative work.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in stage management and related areas with clear learning outcomes.
• Mentor students through preparation, rehearsals, performances, and reflective practice.
• Teach practical and interpersonal aspects of stage management, including leadership and ethics.
• Advance curriculum with new tools, technologies, and inclusive practices.
• Collaborate on program development, recruitment, and assessment to build national visibility.
• Work with faculty and guests on production processes and interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Maintain a record of professional achievement and external recognition.
• Participate in departmental and university service and support for students.
