Job summary

Wynn Las Vegas is seeking an Automation Technician reporting to the Head of Automation & Control to support safe, reliable operation of all automation, electrical, mechanical and control systems on stage and back-of-house environments.

The role involves operating automated show elements during rehearsals and performances, executing automated cue tracks, maintaining schedules, and providing cross-department support while upholding OSHA safety policies and high standards of quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Automation Technician for large-scale theatrical or production show.
• Experience with automation & controls systems and hardware.
• Experience with modern theatrical automation and controls systems for installation, use and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydraulics, valves and pumps for installation, use and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining safe operation of automation, electrical, mechanical and control systems.
• Operate automated show elements and systems during rehearsals, performances, and events.
• Perform automated cue tracks.
• Assist with inspections and maintenance schedules.
• Support other departments as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
