Levy Sector in Newark, NJ is seeking a Staffing Manager to analyze labor models and develop staffing plans in collaboration with location HR managers. You will lead scheduling, recruitment and training to optimize labor efficiency across key markets and support major events while ensuring compliance with hourly labor laws.

The role includes building staffing strategies for existing and future needs, managing relationships with temp agencies, and partnering with the Home Office on tech

Qualifications

• Previous experience with staffing in the hospitality space.
• Experience managing large-scale projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• High level of computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement optimal labor models for the local market.
• Drive reduction of reliance on temp labor and increase internal hires.
• Assist locations with staffing strategy for existing and future needs.
• Develop and manage relationships with temp agencies and seasonal staff.
• Collaborate with Home Office on technology/system enhancements for staffing.
• Forecast and report projected results against actuals weekly.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal labor requirements.
• Work with local universities to develop a pipeline of hourly talent.
