Now is your moment to make a difference in the lives of the underserved.

If there is one unifying characteristic of everyone on our team, it is the deep desire to make a difference by helping society's most vulnerable and often overlooked individuals. Every day we have the distinct honor and responsibility to show up with non-judgmental compassion to provide hope and healing to those who need it most. For those whose calling it is to serve others, now is your moment to join our mission to provide quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation, to live our mantra to “Always Do The Right Thing!”, and to collectively do our part to heal the world, one patient at a time.

Wellpath sees hundreds of thousands of unique individuals in their facilities month over month and a very large percent of those individuals receive direct clinical care, which includes lives saved by Narcan.

We offer ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, and have best in class clinical resources for training, education, and point of care support.

How you make a difference

The Staffing Manager is directly responsible for preparing and maintaining staff schedules to ensure 24-hour coverage across designated units, including master schedules and daily revisions to maintain accurate records by position, unit, and shift. This role involves performing administrative duties requiring knowledge of scheduling programs and adherence to standard policies and procedures while exercising discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in complex decision-making. The Staffing Manager works independently, managing challenging situations, solving problems, and completing assigned projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares and maintains staff schedules, contacts personnel for coverage during shortages, resolves scheduling conflicts, and ensures staff qualifications align with assignments. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing for unresolved conflicts or placement recommendations.
  • Coordinates orientation, training, and 30-day evaluations for new staff, assists with skills evaluations, develops training materials, and ensures templates and schedules are accurate and thorough.
  • Performs advanced data entry for the master scheduling program, develops statistical reports, and ensures productivity and accuracy in maintaining records.
  • Supports HR-related tasks, including time and attendance issues, tracking vacancies, and coordinating employee activities. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition on candidate interviews and offers.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, and materials, assists with training agendas and in-services, and supports the Director of Nursing with disciplinary actions and other HR matters.

  • 1-2 years of progressively more responsible administrative or related experience desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required.
  • Experience with data analysis software desirable.

  • None required.

This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.
