Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking a Coordinator to ensure staffing coverage for nursing units, looking ahead to fill shifts with internal staff or external agencies. You will input census and acuity data into scheduling systems to generate reports and support daily operations.

• Maintains attendance records, on-call and float lists. Processes leave requests. Inputs data into payroll system.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Ensures appropriate staffing of the nursing units on a daily basis. Looks ahead to fill vacant shifts with internal staff and external supplemental staffing agencies. Inputs accurate census, acuity and staffing data into the scheduling system to generate daily reports, and performs clerical, reception and general office duties. Creates a culture of sensitivity to nurses' needs while filling the patient care bases. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact.
