The Staff UX Designer Role

As a Staff UX Designer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of AI developer tooling. You’re passionate about automating workflows and deeply understand the needs of developers. You’ll be responsible for:

1. Identifying Design Solutions: You’ll lead the development of innovative design solutions for products that empower developers and streamline their workflows.
2. Product Development: You’ll actively participate in the product development lifecycle, from concept to execution, ensuring a user-centered approach.
3. High Design Standards: You uphold a high standard for design, remaining pragmatic and efficient.
4. Collaboration: You’ll work closely with a team in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, fostering strong communication and collaboration.

You’ll be working within Google Labs, a group dedicated to incubating early-stage projects that support Google’s mission to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. This team explores new technologies and builds solutions that have the potential to transform user interactions with Google.
