Please click here to learn more about our locations.**Job Description****Job Summary** The Staff Physical Therapist provides direct patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of physical therapy interventions to children with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and developmental conditions. This role focuses on optimizing function, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for pediatric patients within a specialized hospital setting. **Key Responsibilities*** Upon receiving a licensed independent practitioner referral, implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care* Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the patient and their family.* Makes appropriate discharge plans by collaborating with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team.* Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as mentoring and providing education to students and other professionals.* Supports risk management and compliance initiatives through accurate, thorough documentation.**Required Qualifications*** Education necessary to obtain License in State of Practice* Massachusetts PT license**Preferred Qualifications*** 1-year physical therapy experience; will consider new grads* Pediatric experienceThe pay range for this position is $38.90 - $58.36.
