Job summary

d-Matrix in Santa Clara is seeking a Staff Test & Release Engineer for the Inference Cloud. You will own end-to-end testing and release processes for the deployment and orchestration stack, including GPU/Corsair hardware.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in test infrastructure, software engineering in test, release engineering, or a closely related role.
• Experience owning end-to-end testing or releases for a distributed system.
• Track record of building test or release automation that improved release reliability or speed.
• Experience across on-premises clusters and cloud (Azure preferred).
• Strong Kubernetes experience with multi-service workloads and automated test setup.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end test infrastructure for Inference Cloud with homogeneous and heterogeneous deployments.
• Turn user stories into automated end-to-end tests, including failure cases.
• Bring real hardware into CI, manage scheduling on limited shared pools and flaky tests.
• Own release strategy for orchestration platform and tooling, including versioning and rollback.
• Lead the move to independently released components with clear cadence and compatibility testing.
• Define release gates covering functional, upgrade, compatibility, and performance tests.
• Partner with QE, product, platform, and infra teams on a shared test strategy.
