General Motors seeks a Staff Technical Specialist - Hardware/Software Integration to lead end-to-end integration of hardware and software for next-generation vehicle electronics. You will interface with in-house hardware, software, validation, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure delivery of Aggregator and Extender platforms through the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in hardware/software integration and embedded systems.
• Experience with vehicle electronics and automotive product development.
• Strong understanding of ECUs, zonal architectures, networking, and software systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, validation, manufacturing and suppliers.
• Experience with requirements management, system architecture, and software delivery planning.

Responsabilités

• Lead hardware/software integration across product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Coordinate planning and execution to keep hardware/software deliverables on schedule.
• Drive root-cause analysis for cross-functional issues and escalate risks as needed.
• Support validation, manufacturing readiness, and production launch activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure deployment readiness.
