Job description

Overview

About the team

Fintech Tech Strategy & Planning is the intelligence and execution backbone for Intuit's Fintech & Services organization — a revenue-critical, highly regulated business of roughly 1,500 full-time employees. The team owns end-to-end strategic planning, org excellence, business data & analytics, finance operations, and people and culture transformation feeding the centralized org health dashboards that leadership relies on to run the business. We're rethinking this function for the age of AI: moving from reactive reporting to predictive, decision-driving portfolio intelligence, and from manually maintained artifacts to an integrated, agent-assisted operating system for planning and execution.

About The Role

You’ll own change management for how Fintech works — standardizing the processes, tools, and artifacts a 1,300-person, multi-VP organization uses to plan, execute, and report, so that operational excellence is consistent and the underlying data is dashboard-ready. You’ll lead the roll‑out of new planning and execution tools across stakeholder groups, and you’ll drive the in‑year execution cadence — quarterly planning, cutline reviews, and portfolio tracking — that keeps commitments honest throughout the fiscal year. You’ll work closely with the team and the rest of the Tech Strategy & Planning pillars (Finance Operations, Business Data & Analytics, Employee Engagement, End‑to‑End Strategic Planning), and you’ll partner directly with Executive level product and technology leaders across Fintech.

Responsibilities
  • Own change management for Fintech’s ways‑of‑working transformation: standardize processes and artifacts across the org so execution and operational excellence are consistent and data is readily ingestible for reporting and visualization.
  • Lead adoption and rollout of planning and execution tooling — including Jira standardization, the Fintech Portfolio source of truth, execution dashboards, and AI‑assisted planning agents — across VP‑level stakeholder groups.
  • Drive the in‑year execution cadence: quarterly planning, cutline and deprioritization reviews, milestone and dependency tracking, and portfolio SOT maintenance that feeds leadership's command center.
  • Design and run the change management playbook for each rollout — stakeholder mapping, training, office hours, and feedback loops — to convert new tools and processes into durable habits.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with business and technology executives and working teams to align to new AI ways of working that will scale and allow teams to work more efficiently and with velocity
  • Identify friction in current ways of working and design scalable, increasingly AI‑native alternatives — shifting the team from manual tracking to exception‑based, automated reporting.
  • Report on adoption and execution health, translating qualitative org signals into the metrics that feed Fintech's centralized org health dashboards.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in program management, change management, or a related PMO/operations role, including experience leading org‑wide process or tool transformations.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools or systems across a large (1500+ person), multi‑stakeholder, cross‑functional organization.
  • Strong track record managing in‑year execution: quarterly planning cycles, portfolio tracking, milestone and dependency management, cutline/prioritization reviews.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influence‑without‑authority skills, including experience partnering directly with VP and executive‑level leaders.
  • Data‑driven mindset; comfortable partnering with analytics teams to translate process and adoption needs into dashboards and metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill complexity into clear, actionable guidance for both executives and frontline teams.
  • Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Chat, Code, Co-work. Claude preferred. Automation of workflows as a way of working and achieving productivity.
  • Experience in a regulated, revenue‑critical fintech, payments, or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Product Management tools like Aha/Dragonboat, or similar source‑of‑truth and dashboarding platforms.
  • Experience designing or rolling out AI‑enabled or agentic workflows within planning and execution processes.
