Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Staff TPM – Vision System Integration to lead the expansion of our computer vision platform for parking and beyond. This senior role spans hardware, ML, platform, and product teams, and involves partnering with external collaborators to deploy scalable vision solutions.

You will guide strategy, manage complex programs, and ensure delivery aligns with business goals while communicating clearly to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 6+ years of technical program management experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional hardware and software programs.
  • Experience with development and deployment of machine learning systems.
  • Experience with cloud software services, including design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the SDLC.
  • Experience with MS Project, Visio, Confluence, Jira.

  • Drive alignment with internal and external partners to build, test, and deploy solutions
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into executable project requirements
  • Create strategic alignment between project requirements and the Advanced Technologies roadmap
  • Support troubleshooting of field-deployed systems, aligning resources for investigation, resolution, and post-mortems
  • Evaluate tradeoffs to optimize delivery, identify goals, and define roles and responsibilities
  • Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Remove bottlenecks to enable teams to work independently, proactively identify gaps, and mitigate risks

Who You Are

Metropolis is seeking a Staff TPM – Vision System Integration to lead the expansion of our computer vision platform for parking and beyond. In this senior role within the Advanced Technologies team, you will support all aspects of development and integration of our vision platform, working across hardware, machine learning, platform, and product teams, as well as with external partners, to design and deploy unique vision system solutions. You will navigate ambiguity to drive high-level strategic initiatives, manage technical tradeoffs, anticipate bottlenecks, and break down complex projects into executable phases. Your leadership will ensure business and customer needs are balanced with technical constraints, empowering teams and delivering high-impact solutions that scale our technology across multiple domains.

What we\'re looking for
  • BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 6+ years of technical program management experience
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional hardware and software programs
  • Experience with development and deployment of machine learning systems
  • Experience with cloud software services, including design for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the SDLC
  • Experience with common program management and productivity tools including MS Project, Visio, Confluence, and Jira
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
While not required, these are a plus
  • Experience leading and managing hardware development programs or projects focusing on camera, sensor, or imaging systems
  • Experience working inside innovative, high-growth environments

When you join Metropolis, you\'ll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. The anticipated base salary for this position is $180,000.00 USD to $210,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant\'s qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
