Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to distill system-level qualification requirements down to subsystems, supporting qualification plans and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, test, and integration teams.

You will lead qualification activities, analyze risks, and ensure requirements are translated into hardware and software solutions within schedule and cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to communicate highly technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
• Familiarity with package hardware qualification.
• Experience in reviewing design documentation.
• Secret Clearance and US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of system-level qualification requirements and their application to subsystems.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between qualification stakeholders, including subsystem integrators and test teams.
• Support the development of qualification plans, procedures, and strategies that meet program needs.
• Identify and help resolve qualification-related issues and risks across the system and subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure qualification activities are properly planned, executed, and documented.
