Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post‑grad industry experience in EE, aerospace or systems engineering.
• Strong systems design, integration and test focus.
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting and build experience.
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using common languages (e.g. Python, MATLAB).
• Extremely organized and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work onsite at our Costa Mesa, CA headquarters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead development for an end to end solution by collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications, especially within a distributed systems context
• Work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
• Collaborate with the team to define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of post‑grad industry experience, including but not limited to electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering
• A passion for systems design development, integration, and test
• Hands‑on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience
• Experience developing automated test scrips and frameworks using a common language (eg. Python, MATLAB, etc)
• Extremely organized and detail‑oriented
• A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for test planning and execution,and excitement to work onsite at our headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA the rest of the time!

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Already hold a U.S. Secret security clearance, or higher
• Hands on experience with complex robotic systems
• Familiarity with IP-Based networks
• Experience with mission systems, including communications systems and components
• Familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations

US Salary Range

$191,000 - $253,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
