Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a STAFF SUPERVISOR (PATIENT TRANSPORT) for the Children's Hospital Colorado campus in Aurora, CO. This full-time role oversees daily Patient Transport operations, directs a shift, and ensures policy compliance across the team.

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory experience in patient transport within healthcare, strong leadership, problem-solving and relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop staff and coordinate operations with hospital leadership.

We are hiring immediately for a STAFF SUPERVISOR (PATIENT TRANSPORT) (FULL TIME) position.

Location: Children's Hospital Colorado 13123 E 16TH AVE, Aurora, CO 80045 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full Time; Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm. More details in interview!

Requirement: Prior experience in Patient Transport, Supervisory and/or Lead roles in a Healthcare setting is preferred. Please upload current resume with application. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, leadership, supervisory, and relationship-building skills for employee development, as well as coordinating & operational experience - this position is a great opportunity to gain experience in healthcare administration. Some responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise daily Patient Transport operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
  • Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
  • Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
  • Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
  • May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
