Arcadis is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer in Newtown, Connecticut, to lead project components and mentor junior engineers. This hybrid role requires 6+ years of structural engineering expertise and a PE license or Senior EIT status.

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 6 or more years of project experience to join our growing team. If you are motivated by tackling complex structural challenges, working with a wide range of materials, leading technical efforts, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, this role is an excellent fit. In this position, you will lead key project components, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative, high‑quality design solutions for projects across sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, and rail. Our team welcomes either a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or an experienced EIT preparing to sit for the PE exam within the next six months.
Some travel may be required for project work and client visits within the United States.
Arcadis offers benefits for full‑time and part‑time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $85,000–$125,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
