Job summary

techire ai is hiring Senior and Staff-level Speech Scientists to drive frontier work on trillion-parameter scale speech models. You will own end-to-end research-to-production cycles and tackle problems like long-context reasoning and real-world robustness.

The role requires hands-on expertise in speech/ audio LLMs or TTS, with real-world deployment experience and on-site work in South Bay or Seattle. Equity is included with a base up to $400K depending on DOE.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise in speech/audio LLMs or TTS.
• Experience shipping speech systems at real scale.
• Onsite presence in the South Bay or Seattle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build SOTA speech models from the ground up, at genuinely large scale.
• Own problems end-to-end, from research through to production.
• Solve hard, domain-specific speech challenges as part of the push toward speech-to-speech LLM research.
• Help shape technical direction as part of a team working at the frontier of this space.
